ChromaLens respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how ChromaLens handles information when you use the app on iOS and iPadOS.
Overview
ChromaLens is a camera and media-processing app that performs real-time color analysis and transformation entirely on your device. ChromaLens does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
Information We Do Not Collect
ChromaLens does not collect or store:
- Personal information (such as name, email address, or account details)
- Location data
- Identifiers or analytics data
- Usage tracking or behavioral data
- Advertising data
- Crash reports tied to personal identity
ChromaLens does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.
Camera, Photos, and Media Access
ChromaLens requires access to certain device features to function:
- Camera — used to display and process live video in real time.
- Photo Library / Files — used only when you choose to load, save, or export images or videos.
All image and video processing is performed locally on your device. Media is never uploaded to external servers by ChromaLens.
On-Device Processing
ChromaLens uses Apple’s Metal framework to perform real-time color remapping and image analysis directly on your device. No camera frames, photos, or videos are transmitted off-device.
Data Sharing
ChromaLens does not share data with third parties.
Any sharing of images or videos occurs only when you explicitly choose to export or share media using standard iOS sharing features.
Children’s Privacy
ChromaLens does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app does not collect personal data at all, it complies with applicable child privacy regulations.

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
